I have an old hottub that i am turning into a above ground pond. I have it set up for the winter to get it going strong. I put 8 feeder goldfish in it to see if they will last, it has bee 2 weeks and they have. Does anyone have any ideas about how to turn this into a nice above ground pond for fish/ plants/ and mabe a turtle? It is 14X14 34" deepest part, 18" average depth.

Floating plants are always good accents to pond. Craigslist always has pond plants for sale/free. I like some sort of fountain also, in one of the corners. A turtle... he would probaly eat the fish, and you would only be able to leave him out there summer time, and you would have to build something off the edge for him to walk on.... a little difficult lol

Well I am in Southern Cal, it does not get too cold here. My fountain only froze 2 days last winter. I will definatly get some plants though. I need to keep the alge down.
