No worries about the bird and the fish. This tank has a glass lid that has almost NO space anywhere except right where the overlow from the filter pours in.

Although, if bird dander was so bad for fish....how on earth can it all work out in the REAL world ?? There's LOTS of birds flying over, swimming in and living near water all over the world..and most of that water has fish in it :huh: ???

I think it has something to do with it being in a more concentrated area . in fish tanks.... i know of a pet store that had that problem and they ended up makeing a glass enclosure for the birds .. they lost all there fish from it ..

That's interesting Marn...never heard of that ! The bird cage isn't too far from the tank, but like I said, it is SOOOO covered by the glass top I don't think I have anything to worry about. But thanks for mentioning that !
