So I just started my first planted tank. Here is a picture. I just want some advice on how the plants look and if any of them should be removed.

on the far left is what was sold to me as an aluminum plant. It has yet to show substantial growth and I am worried it is going to die. Suggestions are appreciated

also, I add a product called flourish weekly which is what my lfs recommended.

The one on the far left is definitely non-aquatic. The one in the back right (dark green) looks like african fern.. but could also be peacock fern which is non aquatic. if you can take closer photo of it..

The one in the center back is aquatic.
Middle right looks like ruffled sword which is also aquatic.

The front not 2 sure what i am looking at, can you take more photos of that as well

Here is a closer picture of the fern. I hope it is aquatic. I also have what I believe is mondo grass growing in the front. After I purchased it I was told it is a bad aquarium plant. Is this true? Should I remove it?

Thanks

I am betting you are a victim of Petsmart or Petco, They are notorious for selling nonaquatic plants like those in the fish section.
www.plantgeek.com has some good basic info on aquarium plants. You can find some there or other sites that interest you and then ask questions about them on this site. You should also have better luck at a locally owned fish store which should sell only aquatic plants.

The fern is deffinately not aquatic, and so is that stem plant.
