How Big Are These Tanks?

I have 2 tanks and want to know how big they are but don't know how to tell, so anyone who can tell me how many gallons these are thanks!

Tank 1 - Width: 12.5 inches Length: 36 inches Height: 18 inches

Tank 2 - Width: 8 inches Length: 14 inches Height: 8.5 inches

Tank 1 - Width: 12.5 inches Length: 36 inches Height: 18 inches

(12.5 x 36 x 18) / 231 = 35 gallons

Tank 2 - Width: 8 inches Length: 14 inches Height: 8.5 inches

(8 x 14 x 8.5) / 231 = 4.1 gallons

The formulae listed here are correct...as long as they are rectangular tanks...but the tanks in question actually hold a little less water than mentioned b/c they are not negligibly thick-walled...
