Hi all,

Just wondering how big your clown loaches are. Could you please post the age of the fish, the size (inches), and what size aquarium you are keeping them in.

I personally do not have any at the moment but I have seen some huge specimens. They were about 12 of them all around 8" in a 1,000 gallon aquarium they were all 20 plus years old.

3 Clown Loaches, 2", Have had them for about 7 months. They are in a 50 gal, but they will soon be in my 250 when I am done remodeling the interior.
Plan to get two more (1 1/2") soon!

I love these little guys. There are few fish I can think of that can match Clown Loaches for personality! :)

I've got three that are about one and a half inches long, have had them about three months, in a 55 gallon with 12 guppies. They're a fish with a personality like no other :)

Cweg,

Those are very nice fish. Have they grown consistantly every year or have you notice a slow down or a growth spurt along the way? Any babies? I heard loaches don't reach sexual maturity until they get very old. Any truth to that?

Wow, I bought my clowns a year ago at about 1.5 inches long and they are about 5-6 inches long now. Mine seem to be growing pretty quick compared to your guys clowns.

I have 8 clowns in my 250. I've had them for almost 2 years now and they are all 8 to 10 inches in size. They were only about 2 inches when I bought them
