How Can I get Fish To Spawn

I have 3 Neolamprologus Cylindricus In a 20gallon Long. The tank is basically Rock with a layer Crushed Coral at the bottom which is an inch and 1/2 deep. Has a lot of caves which are scattered all over the tank. My ph is about 7 and Gh and Kh I will get back to you Im getting a kit tonight. If the Ph etc. incoreect Can someone tell me what the Ph etc. should be at.

DO a search on google and you will come up with tons of info. Here are a few sites i found

Your ph is too low. These fish come from Lake Tanganyika and its ph is high. its usually best to try to get your PH around 7.8 and above. Add a bit of crused coral to your filter and it will help harden your water.

AS for tips to get my fish to breed. I usually dont' have to do anything but i have noticed that they spawn the most right after water changes. If you do a water change with cooler water its supposed to help also. But keeping clean tanks and happy fish is really the key.
 
To the best of my knowledge there is no sure fire method. I've heard of raising or lowering the temp a couple of degrees may spur them on. Also as the above mentioned, right after water changes I've noticed fish seem to be perked up. If you have a compatible pair it shouldn't be a problem. As for my Coporas they breed like rabbits. People talk about Convicts and the way they breed but these Coporas never stop.
