Pretty slow. My husband has been laid off for about 2 months. He has a 3 day job next week and then who knows.

Tell him I feel his pain and good luck. I was out 6 weeks in the summer and I'm working on my 5th week now. Worked in the Conoco refinery for almost 4 years and then they decided they had no money to spend until next year
. Agents talk, and it is horrible everywhere, unless you want to go to Edmonton for the oil sands work. 25-50 YEARS(!) worth of work on the books. You might be in a camp and you have to commit to 4 months minimum. Plus you go to school@ night to get your red seal, required in Canada to be considered a qualified Steamfitter.

I'd call them castrated or worse. I'd love to see someone try to do that in an OPEN steam line:screwy:! That would fall under the "well they won't do THAT again" category.
