How close am i to being fully stocked?

i currently have a 55 gallon tank.. here are the fish i have so far

6- neon tetras
2 -silver dollars (one 4 inches and one 2 inches)
1- bala shark (2 inches)

We are only going to keep the bala till it gets about 6 inches then our LFS is going to take him back.

do i have any more room to add anything?

You have plenty of room to add more fish, A lot of people are VERY strict about how many fish you add, which shouldnt be the case with that size tank and the fish you have in it now. Add more fish, be sure they are compatible with the bala shark. make sure you get a good clean up crew, cory's and plecos ect. Have fun stocking the tank.

I agree with MyShrimpDied you have tons of room for other fish.

I know the neon tetras are at risk with the bala shark but he does not seem to take any interest in them.. hopefully he will leave them alone.. I ended up buying 3 black tetras today to add in..

You'll have even more room when the neons become expensive feeder fish.
