How did you find AC

With so many members and more everyday I often wonder how everyone found AC. So I thought I would start a thread so everyone can tell how you found out about the community. I will go first. I was doing some research about flowerhorns and ran across a google link were a woman was saying her fish had long stringy, white poo and she didnt know why. I thought I know what it COULD be, clicked the link and VOILA I am now an AC addict So how did you find AC?

I can't remember but it was over 10 years ago I believe, when I was a newbie surfin the web for aquaria stuff but back then I was a saltie I was using webtv back then and had a different user name of either FISH or FISHme .

I can't believe it , I just found myself in the members list !!!!!!!!! If only a mod could get me my old user acct back it would be so cool . I had to change my acct when I went from webtv to the pc I want my old acct back please :help:

about 3 years ago got my first tank since i was a kid, I did a search on haw to use the aqua clear 20 I got a used 10 gal set up with fish. Wanted to be sure i was suppose to pure water in to get it going..lol

I bought a book called The Simple Guide to Freshwater Aquariums. In the back was a list of websites and the author, David Boruchowitz, listed AC. I'm really glad he included it!

Oh and the book is really great for beginners!

My friend gave me all this great fish advice and i finally asked "where do you get all this stuff!??" then, we went to her computer and i was officially hooked on my very first (and favorite) forum.
