Is it possible to convert a salt water aquarium to a fresh water aquarium?
What is involved?
What do I clean out the salt with?
Can I keep the decorations?

I'm guessing this is an empty tank? Just clean it well, check any decorations for impact on pH, fill and cycle. What all is included? Many SW tanks run equipment that either is not needed or won't work in FW.

Just clean the tank with plain water. None of the decorations can or should be reused.

The corals and possibly the substrate will alter the chemistry of a freshwater tank--I wouldn't re-use them. They won't be beneficial to the tank, and likely will import wastes unless you clean them very, very well--and even then, you'll need to test them with vinegar to determine if they'll raise pH.
