How do you hide your ugly heaters?

I usually either just put them vertically in the back corners or horizontally near the top directly below a filter return. Hardly noticeable and they heat my water just fine. I've never kept my heaters near the bottom or at a 45 degree angle. I think that suggestion is fine, but by no means is it an absolute requirement. Put your heaters where you want. The most important thing is to have good water flow around them to carry away and disperse the heat.

My order from Dr. Foster and Smith came in today, so I received my Stealth heater for my 20g tank. This was easily hidden by driftwood and the bubble from the airstone.

For the 37g I like the idea of hiding it behind the filter intake. Combined with a Moss wall and the heater guard (if I can find it locally) it should be invisible. Thanks for the ideas guys.

Good topic, one of the ugliest things is a nice tank with a big-ole-honkin-heater right in plain sight in the middle of the tank :(
YOU PEOPLE KNOW WHO YOU ARE !!!!!!! Now hide them :)

I know. I hate that, too...lol.

you all suggest laying trhe heaters at the bottom, or submersing them 100%

both of my heaters say dont let water get to a certain line, so i just have them at the very top.

did not read the thread through so sorry if i double anyone

pretty much put in on one of the sides and you're good to go
