How do you keep track of your maintainence?

I religiously tracked parameters on Filemaker Pro Mobile on my Palm Pilot, it helped me through some problems I was having a few years ago. Now I have an iPhone so I'm looking for a new solution. Anyone know of n awesome spreadsheet someone wants to share? Actually, why hasn't someone made an iPhone app for aquariums?
its a great thing when your starting out.

i write stuff down only when setting up a new tank so i can compare various levels. even this has become perfunctory though, since i have a sump full of cycled media

I don't have a particular day. Since I work at home (self employed), if I look at my tank(s) and it looks like it needs cleaned, it gets cleaned. This is usually more often for the tank with the weather loach as he unplants for me constantly, and a planted tank with floating plants just looks plain messy. And if the water is down a little from evap, I'll either just add water, or do a quick 10-20% change to reduce a little of what the evap leaves behind. I have to deal with pre-filters more often than filters, and they get done whenever the flow decreases. I DO need something to remind me to add ferts. I'm really bad about that.

I was looking for a good aquarium program to use, like Aquarix or Reef Con, but even when I have them (during their trials), I forget and don't always note things down in them. Then I always seem to have some monetary issue or another come up when their trials are over and can't get the full versions. For instance, the Spring run-off flooding my basement this month...

Because of my work and school schedule, I have a very difficult time doing water changes on the same day every week. I also don't always get to do all the tanks on the same day, or I might, for some reason, do a smaller water change than I usually do. It helps me to keep track of it.

I use a spreadsheet I on my computer to keep track of water changes. I use another spreadsheet to keep track of test readings. I print that one so that I can get to it easily. I also use spreadsheets for other things (like keeping track of the weight of my other animals and their diets...I have a massive Excel workbook called "Animals" which is where I keep all the animal stuff). They help keep everything organised and I don't have to try to remember anything.

I usually just do WCs on Fridays after work. Sometimes push it to Sat/Sun depending on what's going on or early if I'm going to be gone. I check the media at that time (usually once every couple weeks) and change only if needed. I don't use chemical media, so I don't have to worry about that.

I don't test regularly, just when I feel like it or think there might be a problem. Everything's pretty stable, so I don't really worry about too much anymore.

Good reminder about lighting! I'll have to start marking down on the calendar when I have to change them.

For me, it's a routine.

I only track tanks that are medicated or when establishing fertilize schedule.
