Ok Tom, YOUR Tank is the one I'm most jealous of at the moment. LOL
Sheesh, it puts mine to shame big time!!
And it's not that I don't maintain - I do - I just apparently dont have a green thumb when it comes to aquascaping. My gardens outside are great! I am constantly weeding and mulching and all that - I can do landscaping there, but this tank scaping has me completely baffled. LOL.
Jason, my spray bar is at the top - well - about 3" or so from the top - but it still blows things around (mostly the water wisteria that is floating, as well as the hornwort, which I couldn't get to stay attached to anything - it just ends up all knotted up in a corner.
I haven't a clue what a water sprite is, but will look it up.

And if you want some java moss, I'd be happy to send some to you - you pay shipping and I will put some in the mail.

Let me know if you really do want some. I've certainly got enough to spare. Would it survive in the heat we're having here in GA to get to you though? It's ridiculously hot here. Maybe I should wait to mail anything until it cools a bit?? But it's up to you.
Anywho - I've also got some hair algae (I think) issues in my 75 gal tank. It attacked a couple of the plants I had in there, and I eventually gave up and pulled them out altogether. It's also on some of the rocks (maybe I"ll just take those out and scrub them down) as well as the filter intake tubes (more scrubbing?), but not really anywhere else. I have a little green algae on the back glass in the tank that gets sunlight, but that doesn't bother me, and the otos love it, so i leave that be. The hair algae is ugly though, and none of the fish even nibble at it, so I am going to be working on trying to get rid of that over the next few weeks. Fun fun.
