How do you peform your water changes?

why can't you not grasp that that can be caused by several other factors besides chlorine in 20 percent of the water?

mr bently what I'm saying is the only real way to know if the 20 percent of untreated water stresses out fish is if we put sensors on the fish. That's the only real error proof way to know for sure. That's what i'm saying. And going by observation, that's like putting a child in a room and it acts angry because the room is red, well don't you think he could be angry for other factors? such as school, parents, bad sleep?

Do you think all fish are perfect? Do you think the scientist are always unbiased? All this throws observation as scientific out the window.

I mean the way they are testing for this stuff is wrong.

While I have participated as a user in this thread and have made my oppinions on the matter known. As an unbiased mod I am closing this for 3 reasons:

1. the OPs question has been more than answered.
2. all necisary information on the sub-topic "declorinators" has been shared. It is possible for a user to view the thread, and develop thier own oppinion on wheather or not they should use one and when.
3. I feel any further discussion on this may make a debate that was well handled and rather civil turn into an unpleasant arguement.

Thank you all for refraning form namecalling, and for the most part sticking to the facts. Feel free to review the posts and links if you would like to study the information for learnings sake. Id like to add that this was a pre-emptive closing, no one has done anything to cause thread nor post deletion. The closing is an attemp at maintaining the integrity of the thread
