AH! Scotia, as in Nova Scotia. Latin for New Scotland. Interesting. Meriam Webster says Scotia is pronounced as "SKOW-tee-ya" but Nova Scotia is "SKOW-sha" and so is the Scotia (SKOW-sha) sea.
