The females when full of eggs will look much more rounded when viewed from above than the males. Assuming they all eat the same amount. Its a good bet they may be filled with eggs.
Maybe I am stupid...sorry! I understand that the female will be fuller if filled with eggs (as with any egg-bearer).
I have the 2nd largest cory cat in the tank and she is getting obese! She eats with the others and doesn't seem to hog the food, but she is rounder in the front stomach (bottom) area and the last two days has been paler than the other 4. She is acting normal and I wouldn't worry but her color is definately changed. Is this something I should worry about (i.e. parasites or problems)???
I did a water change on Sunday morning and that's when I noticed she was paler. PH is 7.4, ammonia 0. All the other cories look great. She gets shrimp pellets every other day, small algae wafers every so often and Hikari sinking pellets every other day. Should I cut back on feeding and see what happens???
All the other fish are eating and happy (no other color problems).
