How do you tell if corys are pregnant?

i was actually wondering the same thing. i have 4 corys and 2 are bronze and 1 is peppered and 1 is albino, but my albino seems really fat

Cories in general? Females are more robust.

Check out this and choose the cory in specific site.....
There is a section near the bottom that describes sexing.

I don't see it on the link...

Maybe I am stupid...sorry! I understand that the female will be fuller if filled with eggs (as with any egg-bearer).

I have the 2nd largest cory cat in the tank and she is getting obese! She eats with the others and doesn't seem to hog the food, but she is rounder in the front stomach (bottom) area and the last two days has been paler than the other 4. She is acting normal and I wouldn't worry but her color is definately changed. Is this something I should worry about (i.e. parasites or problems)???

I did a water change on Sunday morning and that's when I noticed she was paler. PH is 7.4, ammonia 0. All the other cories look great. She gets shrimp pellets every other day, small algae wafers every so often and Hikari sinking pellets every other day. Should I cut back on feeding and see what happens???

All the other fish are eating and happy (no other color problems).

:help:
