thanks for the compliments!! and that picture is bada$$ i have read and heard of people putting the crate in the tank, but at this point that is gonna have to wait till i get a 125 or a 150!! i really dont want to disturb the substrate and stress the fish unless i HAVE to... i just gotta keep my fingers crossed!! that tank pic u attached looks to have a lot more weight than i do in mine?!?! i always wanna go bigger, enough is NEVER enough :evil_lol:I love your whole tank design. It reminded me of a gorgeous aquascape photo I saved for the exact same reason. It's so simple and beautiful. (I even have a big box of blue/grey slate rocks to mess around with someday myself.)
If you're worried about weight as that rock wall gets higher, I know other people place a sheet of eggcrate on the bottom glass, then the gravel, then the rocks on top. That helps disperse the weight the across the whole bottom instead of smaller areas on the glass.
Here's the slate tank photo I saved.. after seeing what you've done with this, I thought you'd like it too.
LMAO the clown loach isnt photoshopped!!!!! there is 3 total in there as happy as could be :dance:i love it. will do something like that with mine one day.....
your clown loach looks photoshoped!

It looks awesome! You could always use steel bars to reinforce the bottom glass and stand. I can definitely help out with doing that. More slate would look even better.
