I am planning a 10gal tank to transfer my 3 surviving (and growing) baby guppies to in the not to distant future. How does this sound for a stocking plan?

Loads of plants (ie about 75% substrate cover)
3 guppies (4 tops)
2 blue rams (I am aware of the possibility of aggression and have provisions for this)
4-6 otos
Maybe a panchax?

If not the panchax, is there anything I can also put in which will eat guppy fry? Otherwise I can cull them or use them as feeders for my other tanks.

Thanks,
momar

less otos, no panchax.

I like to consider the inch per gallon rule when stocking, at least as a starting point. Using this rule you've got WAY too many fish for a 10 g on your list.

I would stick with the 3 guppies (if they're all males or all females) and a few ottos. However if you've got a mixture of male & female guppies beware-- your 10 g will be full in a very short time.

I would put no Guppies in there, Go with the Rams and a few ottos in a heavy planted 10 gallon. I would run your tank for about a month with plants before you add your fish. Get the plants established and go from there.
