2. I think I may have seen that individual before, but I might be confusing them with someone else.
I think this is silly. A true indication of how famous someone is is how many people know of and less quantifiable how well all those people know an individual.
This is asking one person to guess how many people know an individual well.
Considering I haven't been on here much in the last year a lot of people will come up very low in my guess regardless of how well known they actually are.

Well, in all the time that I've been here I'm pretty familiar with you, SnakeIce...even though you haven't been seen in awhile. I agree with this being relevant to the next poster in line. While I would give you a 9-10, someone that is relatively new to the site might only give you a 1-2.
