i can say one thing for tiger barbs, they arnt so good when the power is off to long.
Last fall i lost my power for 3 days and the temps in both my tanks dropped below 64F (lower but thats the lowest my thermometers go, my house was down to 50F), i never lost any fish except my 4 tiger barbs...poor guys...other then that they seem tough as anything
