How high do you fill your tank?

I fill mine all the way up to about a 1/4" from the lip of the top trim. I like 'em full.

As high as I can get it to the lip of the HOB, then a little bit more.

I keep mine low, about a half inch below the start of the black trim. My tanks have a tendency to overheat, especially in the summer, and the waterfall effect from the HOB's helps to cool things off.

i fill mine all the way then when the level drops below the trim i know its time for a water change

Used to fill mine to the lip on the top trim, after I added the cories I would hear them hit the glass cover when making their surface run. Now I keep it about a 1/2" low so they don't crash anymore.
