I've been told if they have 12-14 rays in the dorsal fin and have a speckled belly they are probably Pterygoplichthys disjunctivus. This is one of the species referred to as "common pleco". either way 1 is TOO big for that tank, let alone 2.

I agree the pleco's will grow to big for your tank, i would try to re-home them both. There are lots of other pleco's suitable for your tank and IMO they are a lot nicer than the massive common pleco's.
