How is this for a set up....

Anyone have suggestions or comments or ideas

30 gallon

Common Pleco
10 Cardinal Tetras
2 Emrald Cory Cats
1 Albino Ruby shark
1 Blue Groumis
1 Opline Groumis

can i add more, i know the pleco is to big for the tank. just ignore that fact

Take the pleco back before it gets too big (sorry, can't simply ignore it :) ). A bristlenose pleco would be a better option.

The albino shark will harrass your cories and gourami, I would take him back as well. You may only want one of the gouramis; as males, especially, get nasty towards other labyrinth fish.

If you want to add more fish, I would get more cories, 2-3. Other wise, I think you have the makings of a good tank. :)

either be ready to buy a 100 gallon or give the pleco to som1 else

Puma is right. Cories really show better when they have larger groups. They don't so much school but become very active and less skittish. A bristlenose pleco is a better algae eater and stays nice and small, less than 4 inches.

Definetly don't put a common pleco in there, like mentioned several times already. They get way too big for a 30 gallon and you will have a problem on your hands when it gets too big, since most people don't want to take a 12 inch+ fish. The cardinal tetras should be fine. The shark may be aggressive, and that will cause problems as well. Add two more cories for a more satisfactory shoal, and I'm not sure how the gouramis will get along. Get two females if you get the gouramis since they are less aggressive.

I don't think anyone will be able to ignore the pleco :) !! With that, you're already overstocked, so until its gone, I would say no more fish :)

this is just my experience but i have only had two out of the countless other blue g's that after a while didn't turn into killing machines.any one else have this pob.
