I was told by LFS that this Ancistrus will grow up to 3inches max, is this true? Can it grow larger?? It is currently housed in my 60L tank, is this sufficient?

gets to 35 cm. to big for your tank. Catfish expert: do they have diferent juvinile and adult colorations?

Well the picture you posted is of a Gold Nugget, which is a Baryancistrus species. Not the same fish.

The fish originally posted looks like a juv. common bristlenose. It can get to be about 5" it should be ok in a 60L tank.

thats why *maybe* was put there. Not syre if a 60L would be big enough for a 5" fish. If you don't plan on upgrading just don't add any more fish.

Tai95: Thanks for the answer. Just to clarify, my tank has only ONE of that 'fish' so both pictures are actually featuring the same fish! lol! There are no other pleco-type fish in my tank.

I will try to get a closer photo of the fish tonight and post it here for further verification.
