I leave my lights on about 9-10 hours.

most of my tanks are on a timer for 14 hours, except my molly tank.. it stays on most of the time... does anyone think thats too long for my other tanks.. i know my mollie tank is fine for most hours but what about my other tanks??

I voted for "who knows" since none of the other choices were applicable. Most days I turn on the lights just for feedings and watching the fish. The lighting is incandescent, and heats up the water a bit too much, plus I don't have live plants in my 10g. Otherwise there is plenty of ambient light for the tank during the day.

For now, 10 hours a day. But when I get my PC/moonlight hood and CO2 system I'm going to switch to 12 daylight / 12 moonlight.

I got a dimmer for my lights, and i dont turn them all the way off cause whenever i do, my tetras go crazy swiming all over the place like there blind and its the end of the world...
