My 10 gallon tank should be set up on tuesday with the new lighting and substrate. I had planned on ordering plants online, since I can't find the plants I want at a LFS. The problem is I am at work a lot, and when the plants get delivered I may not be home. I was wondering what I could do in this situation. My parents would be home, but the most they could do is just put the plants in the tank. What do you recommend I do in this situation. Thanks for any help. I don't want to order plants just to have them die.
How long can I wait before planting plants...

Plants are not like fish in that if you are not home to take them out of the box right away, they will die. As long as your mom gets the box and keeps it out of the heat or cold, they should be just fine until you get home.
