How long did your order take...?

I have heard tons of people complain about them. Some people get damaged items and stuff doesn't arrive up to a month or 2 later. When I buy something in CA and it is shipped UPS ground (I live in VA) it takes at the most 7 days to get here so I don't think UPS is to blame. Plus you could just track your item and see where it is at.
 
If big al's doesnt give you a tracking number in an email than I would call them for it and check it online. So you would know the truth. It even tells you where your package is currently.
 
I work for UPS, and it shouldn't take more than 7 days to ship anything anywhere in regards to the US and Canada, unless you place your order on late Thursday or on Friday, where pick-up won't occur till Monday.
 
Well i got my fluval 404 today it took exactly 10 days which isnt to bad considering it was only 89$. I went to the LFS and i bought a 60 gal tank for the filter which was 65$ a good deal considering they sell 40 gals for 99$ at petco, but i noticed that they were selling fluval 404 for 199$ at the LFS, It just goes to show that you save when you shop around even online and get the best buy for your hard earned money. I will add my two angel fish " Long fin red eyes and Wimpy" to the new 60 gal, im also going to add my smaller oscar "dyann" to this tank as my larger oscar "Nester" seems to be picking on her he got real big real fast...

I ordered something from www.thatpetplace last friday and i recieved it the following friday...in Blaine Washington (POBox)...
i must say they have the most amazing customer service...
i probably went back and forth with emails to Customer Service a good 5 6 times...and each time...they were very helpful with my questions...
awesome awesome customer service...and good shipping times...

i will never shop anywhere else for fish supplies online
(i still cant believe they sell the penguin 330 for 20.99...some of the LFS here in vancouver sell them for 120 bux regular price and even on sale go for 60...)
 
When I order from Big Al's or Foster & Smith it takes between 2 to 3 days most of the time the longest wait I think was 5 days
