I've had my live rocks in my tank for 4 days and haven't seen any lifeforms. I look and look, but nothing.

I've read some posts and such, that say it can take days, weeks, or months before some animals come out of the rocks.

Is it possible I don't have any!?

Could be days could be 6 months it all depends on the rock!!

Just wait they will show up!!

What type of hitchhikers have you been looking for and how long was your rock out of the water before you placed it in your tank? Also, have you tried viewing it at night with a special red light?

this a very open ended question really...as jojo stated above, it can take months, sometimes, for things to start showing their faces out of the rock....night time viewing is always recomended with the preverbial red light torch...

22 lbs of live rock out of water 2 days

8 lbs of live rock out of water about 5 minutes. hehe. store is REALLY close.

Just use a flashlight with a red lense, the Army surplus store should have a few extras laying around.

Had my rock for about 3 month now and still finding new things. Some things i've only seen once then they've disappeared again.
Keep looking i'm sure you'll soon see something. Most things will start very small so look hard :) .
