I'm too new to all of this to tell you where your cycle is at, but I do know that ammonia changes to nitrite and then to nitrate.Once the tank is fully cycled there should be no ammonia or nitrites. You will still have some nitrate but regular partial water changes is all that is needed to keep that at an acceptable level.
