how long?

The tank is glass. The stand supports the corners and the center. Also from the front to back on the sides are supported and front to back on the center. but between the side and center the base edges of the tank are 30" unsupported on both sides of the center. Do I need to modify the stand?

I noticed if i use 3/4" wood and cut two @ 30 3/4" x18 3/4 I could help support in by placing one cut peice on each side of the center support because there is a lip on the stand so it would sit right in to help support all base edges.
