How many africans can I keep in my 55??

not all of these but a mix of maybe 3 groups of 2 or 3 different species(meaning like a group of 3 demasoni,3 yello labs and 3kenyi)..... demasoni, yellow lab, cobalt blue zebra, kenyi, red zebra, acei and yellowfin borleyi

Those are all good choices. 
I'd go with Kenyi, Red Zebras, and maybe Demasoni. Yellow labs aren't as aggressive as the others on your list (especially the Kenyi and demasoni), so if you got them, I'd keep them with Acei and either the Cobalt zebras or the Red Zebras.
I have 3 groups of Mbuna (P. socolofi albinos, Yellow labs, C. afra cobue) and 1 group of Eureka peacocks. Mine are all still small though, with the largest about 3 or 3.5 inches maybe.

ok today i bought 2 red zebra's, 2 blue peacock cichlids, 3 unidentified malawi cichlids that need i.d.-ing, I'll post pics later on or tomorrow just want to get them comfy
