How many Angels?

Can someone tell me how many Angels I can put in a 30 gallon?

You might get away with a pair. Is it a 30 tall or a regular 30? Angels are not that dangerous to other cichlids, but they can be very hard on each other if they don't have enough room.

The tank is 16.5" in height, I do not really plan on keeping anything with them but about 6 Cory's.

I've never been able to keep more than a single pair in anything less than a 55g. Granted these were fully grown angels, though (6+"). Eventually the male killed the female after several breedings in my old 55g setup. He remained solitary from then on....and really didn't seem to mind at all.
