How many blue rams?

im no expert but i dont think they would cause ther so small as long as u have lots of hiding places and lots of plants i think

In a 20g long (30in) with LOTS of landscaping, and some kind of mid-tank divider (aline of rock or a big piece of driftwood) you could probably do it. They would either work things out and divide up the tank, or one would dominate and make the other male's life miserable (at which point you would need to remove him). It's always a toss up with cichlids. Each fish is very much an invididual. The key to getting multiple dwarfs to coexist in a small space is to raise them up together from a small size (smaller than is normally available in LFS). Good Luck

PS both male would absolutely have to be introduced simultaneously.

yeah, you could give it a try....maybe a piece of driftwood on each side of the tank that each pair could call thier own.

Give them time to work things out but if one seems to be not handling the situation very well by spending most of it's time cowering in an upper corner...colorless...you might want to find another home for it.

Have an option on hand and ready if it doesn't work out.

I agree with what mooman said..
if you introduce a few rams in a tank..you may wind up with a pair..when that happens..they take the gloves off and get territorial...if you have a 20 long with lots and I mean lots of structure you may be able to get them to co-exist..
you would have to set the tank up with lots of hidey holes and almost like a zone..then hope there are no border wars..

LOL
