Filter will be a Aquaclear 30 or Eheim classic 2211. Haven't decided yet. What's the most I can put in the 10g? They will be the only fish in the tank as I received some very nice nano driftwood and wouldn't want it to go to waste.
I was going to do something like 15 in a 20 long, if that helps
Put a pre-filter or sponge on the ac if you go that route. My buddy had a 3/4" cpd find its way into the filter recently. Might've just been a freak accident but never can tell.
These guys are small, so I would say at least ten in a ten gallon (not sure I would go as high as twenty...). I hadn't heard of them before, but just looked them up, man are they beautiful. I'm finding all sorts of gorgeous fish I want to keep when I can have more tanks. It's going to be really hard to decide what I want to do with my limited tank space when I'm allowed to have more... of course the pocket book may decide for me.

I was thinking 20 or 25 as Frank has 25 for $26 or 12 for $16. My LFS has some in stock but are $4 each. It will be cheaper to get them online. I wanted to get some boraras naevus but those are a little too pricey for a group.
You really don't need to worry about doing twenty in a 10 gal tank. They're barely 3/4" at maturity and I've commonly seen up to 40 in that sized tank without overload or overcrowding. I've had 16 - 1" or larger, fish - ember tetras, harlequin rasboras, and neons, for over 2 years in a 10 gal tank without losing a single one.
Just have good filtration - say an AC 50, and do a wc every week and you'll have no problem at all.
Thanks. I'll probably get around 20 of them. I do 50% WC once a week on my tanks. I'll probably get the fish sometime in December after the driftwood sinks. Plus check out the deals on filters this week.
