How many Cory Catfish in 38 gallon tank?

I have six cories in my 36 gallon bow along with tetras danios cherry barbs & 2 discus they are stunted so smaller than the bigger ones get.

Sigh.. different Cory catfish can range from less than an inch to maybe 4 or more...

The species you want will affect the answer!!!!!

You were lucky to find a dojo loach if that's what you have.

They can't be sold in NY State. Apparently they're deemed an invasive species to the area. No one wants to live here but the dojo loach.
