how many fish for 6 gal?

i have a 6 gallon 11x11x11 planted tank i want to stock.I wasl looking at endlers live bearers and neon tetras.How many could i get in a 6 gall?

neons like to be in a school of at least 5-6, which pretty much fills the 6 gallon tank imo. may want to stick with smaller fish (i.e. guppies) although I guess since they breed so easily this might be an issue too

I wouldn't put a school of neons in there because of their need for jetting.... you can probably go for a betta or endlers could work but you may have breeding issues eventually because they are livebeares.

y not just get a 10 gal? I'm sure the neons would appreciate it better.

I would make it a planted invert only tank.

Or you could go with a single betta or possibly a smaller group of microrasboras.

I vote for betta... i cant see any other fish being happy in there...

Heterandria formosa, as well as the smaller Boraras and Microrasboras would work.
