How many fish to cycle?

Hi all, I am cycling a new 65 gallon tank. I am going to fishy cycle it. Iam just wondering how many fish should I use to do this properly? I am going to use feeder gold fish. I just put 10 in now. Is there a rule of thumb for this? Iam also wondering when I should start to test the water? Any advice appreciated!!

The fewer the better really, it's less work if you don't use too many fish. 10 Feeders will be more than enough and you'll probably still need to do quite a few water changes to keep them from harm.
