How many of us are fans of kensfish?

lol! Thanks, Fishorama :-) I had complained about his high shipping in one of these threads but I'm going to go ahead and put in an order. The deciding factor as to whether I order again will be if the flakes are crushed from re-bagging!
 
Mine are mostly in biggish 2x3 inch pieces but I don't have to have them shipped. I have to break them up.

I'm surprised you think his shipping is high, everyone always says it's low compared to other places
 
Well that certainly doesn't sound like he mashes the flakes when he bags them, does it?
I normally go to DrFosterSmith or Fish.com, places like that. The Kens order was $112 plus another $20-something for shipping. I'm just not used to shipping being so high but then I got to thinking.......the other places don't sell in this large of quanities either. His stuff weighs a lot more because you get a lot more for your money. In that case it evens out.
 
Ok. I'm a Ken Convert now. I just bought 5 lbs of New Life Spectrum which (according to the ingredients) is an excellent food for $50. I'm trying to switch brands every 3 months when I buy food for my Oscars. But anyway-last time I bought 5 lbs (10 1/2 lb bags) of Hikari BioGold+ for $90-and that was a good deal then at $9/bag! I bought an equally excellent food for 1/2 the price at Ken's. Once I really paid attention and looked at ingredients (check the veggie flakes-wow) and weight and prices THEN I understood why you all are so sold on his stuff. $5 per 1/2 lb bag of New Life Spectrum!
Impressed.
 
How long does it usually take for Ken to ship out? I placed an order on the 14th to be shipped USPS priority and haven't seen anything yet. Not even a confirmation from him that the order has been sent.

I figured with the holiday it might take longer, I won't email till the weekend as that will be a week.

His website says he ships within 24 hrs of payment. I got an order confirmation within 30 seconds. I'll post his info from his website for you to get ahold of him. Something isn't right.
