how many plants is enough?

i have 125g discus tank. i have about 5 large bushes of anubia nanas and i just got 5 anubia barteries with broad lieves. how many more plants do i need to handle my 6 discus and 4 flying fox bioload and compete with algae without putting too many plants in? also, i like anubias because i don't plant my plants into a gravel due to constunt uprooting and i don't feed my plants, also my tank is a low light. i do have algae present on nana leaves and the walls of a tank, brown and dark green to black. all algae is flat. i do 2 water changes per week. i just need to know how many plants i need without filling the whole tank with them? thank you. any other feed back is welcome

a pic would help but its really up to you.... i just cleared out a lot of plants in my 120 giving my fish more room to swim.

IMO Anabuis don't get all that tall. I don't know how often Discus go to the tank bottom but I would think you could cover the entire bottom with Anabuis and never get in their way of swimming.

Might even allow you to put some cherry shrimp in the tank with them to help with algae as they would have cover and protection from the Discus.

IMO--Slow growers (Anubius, crypts, ect) do not do well to out compete algae. Fast growing stem plants are best for this job.

I just took out a huge Java fern (think it was over 5lbs) and some Echindorus swords and my tank looks so much cleaner.
