How many watts are needed

For a 14 gallon tank ? I have two 15 watt incandescent light bulbs right now is that okay ?

I would change them to 6500k compact florescent screw ins. They have a 10 watt version at walmart in the fish section. Incandescent bulbs are worthless

I agree with foofoo incandescent will do little more than heat the water in your tank and do nothing for your plants, besides let them die. Change to fluorescent

what kind of plants do you want? migth want to go with the 14w bulbs or 23w depending on what kind of plants.
