Ok, now that I know the fish that I was talking about was a blood parrot, how many of them plus how many clown loaches can I put in a 75 gallon?

Also, what other fish (other than cichlids) can I add to the tank if I cut back on the amount of the other two?

how many is up to you, you'll get a lot of people talking about overcrowding, but as long as you don't mind the cleaning once or twice a week and have a really good filter or two, then you'll be ok. I don't know anything about clown loaches-so I won't give my pointless opinion on them. If I were you, I would put 2 or 4 Blood Parrots - and a small school (3-6) of some Silver Dollars. They are nice looking and will be active all the time. (note, I don't have them in my tank because I don't have room after my BP, Jack Dempsey and Green Terror) - but if I had a 75 or 125, then I would definitely put some in. hope that helps a little. ; )

Thanks for the info, I don't know what siver dollar fish look like (newbie) so I will look them up and see what they look like.

Anymore suggestions?

And maybe some kind of cat fish, cichlids always to good with a catfish, for some odd reason.

Since parrots are not agressive and they can't use their mouth, how about a school of glofish?

I am not sure what a glofish is, but just because their mouth doesn't work as good as other fish, they can still hurt smaller fish- they can pick at their fins until there is nothing left. (i tried to put a bully swordtail in my 55 with the BP, -lived for two days) They are not aggressive in comparison to other cichlids, but they are still much more aggressive than regular community fish (if that is what a glofish is).
