I know these answers will vary based on tank sizes, species, how far we are in the hobby, etc. but I swear, the marine hobby expenses are never-ending!

Salt's a great ongoing example.

What's the average you spend in a month (USD) with this hobby (not counting electric bills)?

$100-$250

Mostly Light, but thats the entire bill not sure what % comes from the tanks.

It was £25-£75 in shop:help:
Not sure about the eletricity bill but probably up by £10-£15
I have since cured my shop habits by spending the best £100 ever, on a ro system and bucket of salt. Now i have no need to go to the shop for water i have stopped spending money :bday:
Six weeks now and almost like the days before i became an addict.

I'm still stocking so i've been putting 400-500$ in fish, corals, and inverts into the tank the past few months along with regular routine stuff.

With salt, food, kalk and electricity, about $50.00 a month. Tank's pretty full now, so no more corals unless they're small frags.

I spend around 300 dollars a month, half of it on acrylic for new tanks. I also spend about 30 dollars on food (I have 2 spoiled little puffers who will only accept mysis shrimp) and the rest I use to buy new fish and equipment.

Depends on the month...

Last month I spent about $850!... I bought a new tanks HM Lights etc... though...

Probably 25-50 on the norm... Will go up in future months when I but more corals/equipment etc...

I'm trying to trade some misc things for a sump etc. and I am working on a 5g jug skimmer... (Slowly working) All I need is the PVC, Beckett, Pumps, Sump, EVERYTHING..

Well, I have the 5g water jug and a small pump for circulation...

Hopefully I'll be able to spend some $ next month... hopefully!
