How much Eco-complete in a 55g planted?

If I get 20 pound bags. How many should I use?

I figured 4 or 5. Does this sound right?

I'm facing the same problem and I figured two. At that price I'll push it all to the back and make it work.

A website that sells Eco-complete said that you should go 1 pound per gallon of water. So 3 should cover it, but another said one bag per 10-20 gallons. If you go with the one bag for 10g then 5 bags for a 55 or if you go 20g then 3. And then there are a few people that say 2 inches on the bottom, well, how much does it take to get 2 inches?

I used 1 bag per 10 gallons. I have a 54gallon bow and used 5 bags which gave me 2 and 3 quarters to 3" of subtrate...
