I also dont blanch my zuchini at all
I just take a piece of raw zuchini.. wash it and attach a circular piece to the zeggie clip and drop it in
usually I make a couple of small cuts in random places through the peeling so its a bit easier to get to the "meat" but I have done it both ways and they dont seem to care
I also do the same thing with raw cucumbers.. all my fish love them and are used to either both types raw
