how much space would my LR take up?

Im still planning my 75g FOWLR. How much space would 70lbs of live rock take up in my tank? It sounds like alot, but never weighed a piece. Rock would be typical fiji premium. I know how important LR is, but water is important too right?

The amount of space the LR will take up depends on the size and shape of the pieces, along with how they are arranged in the tank. I don't think you'll find yourself space limited as far as open water areas go with 70lbs in a 75g, especially if it's not a reef ready tank (one with one or two built-in overflows).

I agree, it is really going to depend on what FSN has said as well as the type of rock. 70#s might not look that much at all if it is dense.
