How much Tetra SafeStart for a 36 gallon bowfront?

New tank, and I'm very impatient. I used BioSpira years ago when I had my first tank and it was successful so I'd like to try again. I was looking at the tetra safestart and it seems like they have three size options...

Bottle for up to 15 gallons
Bottle for up to 30 gallons
Bottle for up to 70 gallons

The instructions say that you have to use the entire bottle... since it goes over 30 gallons, would I have to use the 70 gallon bottle? That seems like a lot of bacteria. Another confusing thing is that the front of the bottle itself says it's for up to 500 gallons?

I'm not familiar with Safe Start, but you could also take a look at Seachem's Stability, which has some pretty good reviews. For your tank, you'd use four capfuls (20mL)

Seems pretty promising, do you have any experience using this product? How does it compare to safestart?
