I have two cories. A Pink Cory (although it was sold to me as a ghost cory) and a Peppered Cory.
The food i got from my lfs is Catfish Pellet Food and they are tiny!
I am not too sure how many i should be giving my cories?
They get fed twice a day and i drop in about 2/3 pellets per feed.
Is this enough/too much?

Also, the pellets came with free algae wafers. I've tried them on these tonight. The wafers just float there and they took no interest so after 5 mins i scooped it out and feed them their normal.

As you've found out, Cories aren't too fond of algae wafers.

In order to tell you if you are feeding the correct amounts, we need more info on these pellets.

I would be remiss if I didn't tell you that Cories like to be kept in larger groups than just two. Four is usually the absolute minimum that people recommend, but six or more is even better.

The pellets are Catfish pellet Food with immuno Health Booster with algae and vitamin C by King British

Anyone??

:)

JMO but for dry food i prefere to use Tera Prima. My corys love it and go on a mad search the minute it hits the water. For 2 corys i would only add 5 or 6 pieces of this. Sorry ive never use the BK stuff.

If the food is really small, you shouldn't feed them any more than they can eat in about 5 minutes. As to the wafers, try soaking them till they sink. Mine love them (I have some in a 10 gal)

Also, be sure to break the food up and spread it out. One of my cory's is twice the size of the others because I never thought about breaking up the wafer, and she ate all of it herself.

I put in Hikari Algae Wafers, initially for my pleco, but my Bronze corys go crazy for them. They also like bloodworms, chicken, and veggies.
