how much to feed

Well I have read and read and read and read.....and I know what to feed my cute little cherry shrimp, but- I have no idea how much-
Like- I have these omega algae wafers. How much should I put in my little 2 gallon tank with 2 darling little cherrys and a small mystery snail? Should I feed them every day? should I drop in itty bitty pieces or should I just drop in one larger piece and let them all share? I had to siphon out lots of leftovers today. The ammonia is still 0, nitrites are 0 and nitrates around 5 again- I just have java moss in there, which the cherries seem to absolutely love!
So, how much, how often?

break it apart and feed it part of it every other day. in my tanks i feed every day but i have a lot more then 2 shrimp.

I agree with mg. In a tank your size with those inhabitants I would feed every other day. You would be amazed how much the shrimp like snail jello as well.

oh yeah- snail jello- I was gonna look that up! I remember reading about it here.
these shrimp are darling! Very busy all the time!
okay then, every other day it is. I was unsure if I could do that but they seem to constantly be eating something-LOL! whether I can see it or not! I put a rock in there from my old tank that has algae on it and they all love that.
