how often are you suppose to feed baby fry?

Hello,

You should feed baby fish 3-4 times daily. Each time feed them for a minute or two.

Off topic, but what babies do you have?

Do you have live plants in your tank? If so the fry will get a lot of it's food from them. I wouldn't try feeding 3-4 times a day in a community tank. You'll mess with your water quality very quickly. That's the reason you see most breeder tanks are bare bottom, It makes it easy to see when the tank gets nasty and it's easier to clean.

For your one survivor I would just crush up some fleke very finely and feed that when you feed the rest of the tank.

No i dont have live plants in my tank just them plastic fake ones. Is it a good idea to get some live plants?

Live plants are always a good idea. They provide shelter for the fry and infusoria will build up around the plants. This will make a good first food for fry. If you can find it guppy grass (Najas guadalupensis) makes a great cover plant.

Any idea as to where I would be able to locate this grass? and an estimate in price?

Seeing as how you are in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan I have no idea. You could try asking your LFS if they could get it in for you. As for the price it shouldn't be all that expensive. The stuff grows like crazy and needs to be thinned weekly or it will fill your tank.
