I have 3 clown loaches that are about 2-4 inches in length. I normally feed them twice a day, a variety of things but I'm going on holidays for 2 weeks and I'm wondering if I could feed them only once a day. It'll be easier for my kids to remember to feed them only once. My kids are not fish people so I'm hoping my 2 tanks will be OK when I return. Because the tanks won't get cleaned for 2 weeks I'm thinking it would be wise to feed only once a day.

you could even get away with feeding them once every other day. there is no reason to feed them twice a day, much less once.

Once a day is fine or every other day, although my loaches are spoiled too. I suggest putting the food for each day in small containers or bags, those 7 day pill holders are nice.
The worst fish disasters I've had have been from non-fish pet sitters overfeeding so you may want to hide the food cans as a precaution.

Thrice here. It's very easy to stunt their growth considering these are only juveniles and need regular feedings compared to sub-adults and adults. You can compensate it with frequent water changes and massive filtration.
